Dave Oden bought his Nissan R33 GTR V-Spec Skyline three years ago. It was close to bone stock with 287 wheel HP at 12 psi and; like any used car; she had her issues. Some may say that buying a used vehicle with a boost leak, body damage, rust spots and in need of some serious TLC would be crazy! So why buy such a car? Because she is one of a kind. Not only is she a Skyline, a car that’s been regarded as one of the world’s greatest automobiles (on and off the track), the car that has been featured in popular video games such as Grand Turismo, Need for Speed, and Forza, movies such as Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift, 2 Fast 2 Furious, and national motor sport events such as the D1 Grand Prix, she’s unique simply because she’s rare here in the States; “It is kind of fun to see the reactions of people who see it on the street. Most people have no idea what it is, but when someone KNOWS what they are looking at it puts a smile on your face.”….
