Ferrari Disrobed

Cameras in hand, Miles Magazine members David Stevens and Hayley Myers attended the Ferrari California Unveiling Party on April 14th, at Boardwalk Ferrari, Plano Texas. The main feature of the event was on the showroom floor under cover, but in our opinion the real show was outside in the parking lot. A sea of prancing horses, prestigious badges, and growling exhausts roared into the dealership for the unveiling.
The New Ferrari California, available exclusively as a convertible with a hard folding top, aluminum chassis, powered by a mid-front V8, 7-speed dual clutch transmission, F1-Trac traction control system, Brembo brakes, beautifully trimmed cabin by Ferrari’s own skilled artisans, and of course, the prancing horse on the hood; looks nothing short of stunning.
The sunny California was not what we expected out of Ferrari. With Ferrari’s flair, the body shape is understated and does not appear to have the appeal of a typical sports car. Maserati sure had there hand in this project. From what we could tell; a comfortable cruiser with the formality of carefully crafted and engineered design work, thus producing one hell of a smooth operator.
Our thanks go out to Boardwalk Ferrari Maserati for hosting such a successful event. Miles Magazine is looking forward to the next unveiling, and you can bet that we will be there with bells and whistles on.
