2009 Texas VQ Shoot N Show
The VQ Shoot N Show made its second debut in Texas on April 26th 2009. A total of 23 cars cruised from Plano to Irving, then Irving to the Grapevine Lake meeting spot, joining a parking lot boasting a total of 47 hard parked sea of G35’s, 350Z’s, and G37’s.

Unfortunately, the weather did put a dampener on things, and the majority of VQ’s ended up retiring. However, those that braved a few sprinkles of rain had some professional videography and photography shots of there cars done along the lake side.

The festivities kicked off with some personal entertainment across the way, no not like the Latino dancing team that entertained us in downtown Dallas in 07, but our very own Indian dance off and family reunion. Needless to say, we were all shy dancers and carried on with our own escapades at the boat dock. Who needs to prove we can belly dance when we can stand by our bad ass rides?

As with the 2007 Fall Meet, we went to grab a bite to eat after the Photo Shoot and cruise. A squire of us headed over to Red Robin for some exemplary food and fun.
Looking into the future, making one of our predictions, we’d say the Texas VQ Shoot N Show Meet will be located at a different scenic spot with a better cruise map for 2010. Ideas on entertainment for the 2010 Show are welcomed for submission (Chris Black is unavailable due to his 2010 Riverdance Tour). Please email Hayley at HJM.Photography@gmail.com.
Thank You to Barrie Myers for videography coverage (which is being edited as I type), HJM & DWS Photography for the picture skills, the Red Robin Staff in Grapevine Texas, and all of the fellow VQ enthusiasts for a successful event.
Until next year, enjoy the goings-on of the 2009 Z and G meets hosted by my350z.com, g35driver.com, and g37driver.com. This article and additional photos are also available on www.hjm-photography.com and www.dwstevens.smugmug.com.
